Everything started off great with Matt, unfortunately it seems like I was ghosted by Matt. I don’t get my calls answered anymore and I don’t get called back. Same thing with emails, they go unanswered.Update: Matt was able to assist us with our claim and we are satisfied in the end. As a business owner myself I understand now that he was swamped with work but he got around to representing us. I have referred Matt to others as well. God forbid I need another personal claims lawyer from another accident but incase of another accident I will call him first. Thanks Matt!

Unfortunately dealing with an absolute mess with my health insurance after Matt Burkert overpaid a subrogation claim for health insurance claims that were not related to my car accident at all.I have emailed and called with no response from Matt, and have spent hours with health insurance trying to get my money back. Matt's communication was spotty during the process of working through my personal injury claim, but when he didn't respond to my 3rd email, this time asking for a response within 24 hours or I would submit a claim to the NC Bar, I knew he was just ignoring me.I was happy to get a settlement after the accident, but dealing with this issues has added so much unnecessary stress. It would have been easily avoided if Matt 1. had me review before paying subrogation and/or 2. reviewed the medial records he had from the accident. There is not one part of me that wants to make a bad review but unfortunately Matt has absolutely ghosted me after making an error, and I think his future clients should know.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I cannot recommend Constantnou and Burkert, Attorneys at Law, enough! Matt Burkert was extremely professional, prompt, and effective in handling my son’s traffic violation case. He got the violation completely dismissed—no court costs or fines! The entire process was smooth and stress-free, thanks to their expertise and attention to detail.
